Chapter 2350: Any last words

At this moment, Gavin's face was ashen, his clothes in tatters, and his arms covered in blood, making him look particularly disheveled.

He knew Aaron was strong, but he hadn't expected him to be this strong.

He was, after all, a martial arts master, ranking at least in the top three among the elite disciples of the World Martial Arts Sect. In his view, even if he was not as strong as the top-ranked Aaron, he shouldn't be too far behind.

But now he realized he was wrong, very wrong.

His strength was insignificant in front of Aaron.

With just one move, the opponent had severely injured him.

The gap between their strengths was like an insurmountable chasm.

Why?

Why was it like this?

He asked himself if he had not worked hard enough, had not fought desperately enough, but why was he still inferior to Aaron?

After years of painstaking cultivation, not only had he failed to catch up with Aaron, but the gap between their strengths had only grown wider. Why?

"Surround him!"

As Gavin lay on the ground, gravely injured, the surrounding enforcement team members immediately swarmed around him, encircling him.

Swords and knives were pointed at him, their gazes fierce and watchful.

However, they did not dare to act rashly because, despite his severe injuries, Gavin was still a martial arts master.

Even in a desperate counterattack, he could take a few of them down with him.

"Sister, are you alright?"

Seeing Violet narrowly escape, Lily couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

"I'm fine, thanks to Brother Aaron."

Violet swallowed hard, clearly still shaken.

She hadn't expected Gavin to be so ruthless, willing to die with her.

Aaron glanced at Violet, and after ensuring she was unharmed, he walked towards Gavin with a grim expression.

Seeing Aaron approach, the enforcement team members immediately made way for him.

"Any last words?"

Aaron stood over Gavin, looking down at him with cold indifference.

"Aaron, I was wrong. I know I was wrong. I'll return to the sect with you and plead for forgiveness. Please spare my life!"

Gavin begged for mercy, blood dribbling from his mouth, his demeanor utterly humble, devoid of his previous arrogance.

He could tell that Aaron was genuinely intent on killing him.

"Before you took Violet hostage, you did indeed have a chance. Considering our same sect, I would have pleaded for mercy on your behalf with our master. But now, it's too late for everything!"

Aaron's face was cold, his tone icy: "You personally destroyed your chance, cutting off your path. For committing such heinous crimes, today, you will undoubtedly die!"

With that, Aaron didn't hesitate. He struck Gavin's head with a powerful palm.

"Bang!"

A loud explosion.

Gavin's head exploded like a watermelon hit by a cannonball, shattering on the spot.
I thought Dustin was going to rescue him for interrogation

Chapter 2351: The deeper the love, the deeper the hate

Gavin is dead.

A headless dead body lay on the ground, blood splattering everywhere.

The law enforcement team members' expressions were cold, without a trace of sympathy.

Gavin had indeed been a key elite disciple cultivated by the World Martial Arts Sect, but from the moment he colluded with Divine Hall and betrayed the sect, his fate was sealed.

Especially since he had just been obstinate and attempted to harm the sect leader's daughter.

With all these accumulated crimes, death was his only path.

Even if Aaron hadn't killed him, he would have faced the sect's punishment upon returning.

"Gavin, that bastard, really deserved to die!"

Looking at Gavin's dead body, Lily spat on the ground, her face full of hatred.

As the saying goes, the deeper the love, the deeper the hate.

She had always treated Gavin as a senior brother, believing him to be a good person.

But to her surprise, he turned out to be a hypocrite who committed all sorts of evil.

For his own selfish gain and to climb the ranks, he did not hesitate to collude with external enemies and betray the sect.

Even after being exposed, he showed no remorse and even held her sister hostage.

Such a person, worse than a beast, deserved to die!

"Alas... I never thought senior brother would stray so far, taking this irreversible path. It's truly hard to fathom the human heart!"

Violet sighed lightly, her expression somewhat complex.

What Gavin did was indeed abhorrent, but after all, he was a senior brother who grew up with her.

Seeing him end up like this inevitably stirred some mixed feelings.

"Pack up Gavin's body and bring it back to the sect to report."

Aaron looked at the headless dead body on the ground, coldly throwing out this order before turning to leave.

Soon, the headless Gavin was packed up and taken away by the law enforcement team.

Although he was dead, his crimes needed to be thoroughly investigated to set an example.

"Brother Aaron, it's all thanks to you. Otherwise, my sister would have been in danger just now," Lily said gratefully.

If it weren't for Aaron's remarkable strength, which severely injured Gavin with a single blow, who knows what dire consequences might have ensued.

"This is just my duty, nothing special. If anything, it's because of my negligence that Violet was put in danger. Thankfully, nothing happened; otherwise, I wouldn't know how to explain it to my foster father," Aaron shook his head, feeling quite guilty.

He had underestimated Gavin's ruthlessness, thinking he could persuade him to repent, only to find out Gavin would react like a cornered beast.

"Brother Aaron, it's not your fault. No one expected senior brother to be like this," Violet comforted him.

"Let's not talk about Gavin anymore."

Chapter 2352: Nine-flower Jade Dew Pill

At this moment, Aaron suddenly changed the topic: "Speaking of which, it's thanks to Dr. Dustin's timely intervention that you were unharmed. It seems you owe Dr. Dustin another favor."

"Dr. Dustin?"

Violet looked at Dustin in surprise: "Did Dr. Dustin intervene just now?"

She had only seen Aaron step in and hadn't noticed Dustin's actions.

"Of course!"

Aaron nodded and smiled: "Just when Gavin was about to make a fatal move, Dr. Dustin used a flying needle to strike his acupoint, preventing your harm."

Others might not know, but he had seen it clearly.

The dart he had thrown was dodged by Gavin, but the flying needle from Dustin silently hit Gavin's wrist.

It was this needle that interrupted Gavin's actions, giving Violet a chance to escape and allowing Aaron the time to severely wound Gavin.

In short, the one who truly saved Violet was not him, but Dustin.

"It was just a small effort, nothing much. Besides, even if I hadn't intervened, Young Sect Leader Aaron could have easily resolved it with his strength," Dustin said modestly.

As a guest at the World Martial Arts Sect, he couldn't stand by idly when he saw the sect leader's daughter in danger.

"I didn't expect it to be you saving me again, Dr. Dustin. I really don't know how to thank you," Violet's gratitude towards Dustin deepened after understanding the situation.

"Violet, your World Martial Arts Sect has so many rare treasures, why not give a few to Dr. Dustin to express your gratitude?" At this moment, Margaret walked over.

She had seen the whole situation clearly, and it was fortunate that Dustin was there; otherwise, it would have been difficult to manage.

"We will definitely give him something, but ordinary treasures wouldn't be suitable for Dr. Dustin. We have a treasured Nine-flower Jade Dew Pill in our World Martial Arts Sect, which would be perfect to give to Dr. Dustin," Violet said with a smile.

"Nine-flower Jade Dew Pill?" Margaret raised an eyebrow: "Is it the legendary supreme pill made from nine kinds of rare flowers?"

"That's right."

Violet nodded: "The Nine-flower Jade Dew Pill, after consumption, can greatly enhance one's cultivation, strengthen muscles and bones. Moreover, the greater the potential of the user, the stronger the medicinal effect. Our World Martial Arts Sect searched everywhere and found only this one pill."

This Nine-flower Jade Dew Pill was originally a precious gift from her father, Jeffrey, to help her break through to the grandmaster realm.

However, her martial arts talent wasn't exceptional, and she was still far from the grandmaster realm, making the pill useless for her at the moment.

It would be better to give it to Dustin as a thank-you gift, making the best use of it.

After all, she owed him too many favors, and it wouldn't sit well with her if she didn't properly express her gratitude.

I wish I can accept it on his behalf 👀
My cultivation has stagnated since (still a blawdy new villager!)
Hey Dustin! Be a good lad and accept the pill, I'll gladly bite your hands off for it.

Chapter 2353: A treasure, you should accept it quickly

"Lily, go get my Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill," Violet signaled with a glance.

"Big sister, you gave the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill to Dr. Dustin. What will you do in the future?" Lily couldn't help but speak.

Outsiders didn't know, but she was very clear about how precious the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill was.

That was an extremely valuable treasure used to break through to the Grandmaster level.

Ordinary martial artists could only dream of obtaining it, but she didn't expect her sister to be willing to hand it over.

"Keeping the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill isn't of much use to me. Giving it to Dr. Dustin, on the other hand, allows it to be used to its fullest potential," Violet smiled faintly.

The higher a person's martial talent, the better the effect of taking the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill.

With Dustin's talent and cultivation, he could make the most of the pill's effects.

"Don't just stand there, hurry up!" Violet began to urge.

Although Lily was somewhat reluctant, it was her sister's possession, so she couldn't make the decision herself and could only nod in agreement.

In a short while, Lily came out of the villa holding a delicate sandalwood box.

"Big sister, are you really going to give this away?" Lily asked again.

"Enough with the delay. No treasure can compare to the grace of saving a life."

Violet was very generous. After taking the sandalwood box from Lily's hand, she quickly handed it over to Dustin, smiling, "Dr. Dustin, this is a token of my appreciation. I hope you won't dislike it."

As she spoke, she opened the sandalwood box, revealing the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill inside.

The Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill was entirely emerald green, crystal clear, and under the sunlight, it looked like a beautiful gem.

As soon as the box was opened, a unique fragrance instantly wafted through the air.

The few people around couldn't help but take a deep breath, feeling refreshed and invigorated.

"It's truly an excellent pill. Just the scent alone is extraordinary," Margaret couldn't help but praise.

Superior pills were already very rare, capable of inciting countless martial artists to fight for them.

Not to mention an ultimate pill, which was a treasure that countless people dreamed of but couldn't obtain.

Even as a princess of the Dragon Kingdom, it was extremely difficult for her to acquire an ultimate pill.

"The Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill, there is probably only this one in the entire martial world, its value is inestimable," Lily said with a pained expression.

She would rather exchange ten other treasures to get back the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill.

"Dr. Dustin, what are you waiting for? Such a treasure, you should accept it quickly," Margaret raised her beautiful eyebrows.

"Since Miss Violet insists, I won't be polite."

Looking at the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill in the box, Dustin rarely showed a smile.

Chapter 2354: A recruitment fair

Without further ado, he accepted it and put it away directly.

He wasn't particularly interested in most things.

But the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill was different. As an ultimate pill, consuming it could significantly enhance one's cultivation, strengthen the body, and unlock potential. It was indeed a rare treasure.

He was not only a martial artist but also an alchemist.

Naturally, he had a deep appreciation for such an ultimate pill.

After all, ultimate pills were hard to come by. Even he needed a large amount of precious medicinal ingredients to have a chance to refine one, and there was no guarantee of success.

"Alright, thanks have been given, and everything that needed to be done is done. Today is the competition day for Group B contestants. How about we go watch the matches on-site?" Lily suddenly suggested.

She and her sister had signed up earlier and had been selected for Group B.

However, given her sister's current condition, she certainly couldn't compete, but Lily could still join in on the excitement.

"Dr. Dustin, Autumn (Margaret), what do you two think?" Violet asked.

"I was just thinking the same," Margaret nodded with a smile.

"I have no problem with that," Dustin agreed readily, his gaze still fixed intently on the Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pill in the box.

"Let's go, then!" Lily shouted.

She immediately directed the enforcement team to escort them straight to the Infernal Mountain arena.

......

At this moment, the Infernal Mountain arena was still packed with people.

Compared to the eight simultaneous matches for Group C contestants, the matches for Group B contestants were much fewer, with only two matches happening at the same time.

Although the number of matches decreased, the quality of the competition significantly increased.

Because the contestants in Group B were at least late-stage innate martial artists, some even half-step grandmasters.

There were also a few with exceptional talent, often able to defeat stronger opponents with their skill.

If the Group C matches were just a screening process, then the Group B matches were the real deal.

Martial artists at this level were already quite famous in the martial world.

They were either elite disciples of major sects or seasoned wanderers with rich battle experience.

Especially those who advanced from Group C to Group B, each was a battle-hardened warrior, none of them weak.

Today's competition was particularly grand.

High-level figures from various major sects attended in person to watch the matches.

Their goal was simple: to select some elite fighters from the Group B contestants and try their best to recruit them into their own sects.

For the major sects, today's competition was a recruitment fair.

For the contestants, it was an opportunity to make a name for themselves.

Chapter 2355: It's really lively here

It's worth mentioning that in the past few days, apart from the arena matches, Huang Abigail's gambling business has been exceptionally booming.

To attract more people, Abigail specifically set up two temporary open-air casinos.

One is a regular casino, and the other is a VIP casino.

The regular casino mainly deals with money and valuables, while the VIP casino only accepts various treasures.

The two different casinos cater to different people's needs.

All the spectators at the matches have become Abigail's targets for exploitation.

The strategy is the same old trick: let the gamblers have a taste of winning, and once they are hooked, take them down all at once.

This tactic never fails.

Over the past few days, Abigail has made a fortune and become the biggest winner at the entire event.

Although some smart people are aware of Abigail's schemes, they dare not expose her due to her status and can only pretend not to see.

In fact, even if it were made public, those inclined to gamble would still do so.

Gamblers always harbor a sense of luck.

Once they see someone around them getting rich, they can't resist trying their own luck.

Even if they know that only a very small number of people actually win big, they still choose to take the risk.

In their minds, they might be one of those lucky few.

When Dustin and his group arrived at the scene, the matches had already officially started.

The high-ranking members of World Martial Arts Sect had reserved seats with a broad view and snacks and fruits provided.

This is a reflection of status.

"Greetings to the Young Sect Master! Eldest Miss! Second Miss!"

The appearance of Aaron and the others caused quite a stir.

All the members of World Martial Arts Sect, both high-ranking and low-ranking, stood up and saluted to show their respect.

Dustin also spotted a familiar face among them, World Martial Arts Sect's Protector, Raul.

Seeing Dustin, Raul was momentarily stunned, quite surprised.

However, noticing Dustin chatting and laughing with Aaron and the others, he dared not ask further.

"It's really lively here! All the major sects have come. I wonder who will win the championship in the end?" Violet looked around, appearing a bit excited.

As the daughter of World Martial Arts Sect's leader, she had always been well protected and rarely went out.

This time, she had sneaked out to sign up for the martial arts competition.

Unfortunately, before the matches even started, she was poisoned and remained unconscious, missing the chance to join the excitement.

Now, witnessing this grand event in person, she was naturally quite thrilled.

"As long as Brother Aaron competes, the championship will definitely belong to our World Martial Arts Sect!" Lily said confidently.

Aaron was the most extraordinary figure in World Martial Arts Sect in the past hundred years and was greatly admired by all its disciples.

Chapter 2356: There's always someone better

His prestige in World Martial Arts Sect was second only to their father, Jeffrey.

Moreover, in her memory, Aaron had never been defeated.

Those so-called geniuses in the martial world were insignificant in front of Aaron.

"Lily, don't speak too soon."

Aaron shook his head and smiled, "This martial arts competition hosted by Infernal Mountain has nearly shaken the entire martial world. Geniuses from all the major sects and factions have gathered here. This is destined to be a fierce battle, and no one can predict who will win in the end."

Although he was very confident in his abilities, he wasn't blindly so.

After all, on the Heavenly Prodigy List, he was only ranked fifth.

Ahead of him were several formidable opponents, each one exceptional.

Especially the two tied for first place, Logan Rhys and Finn Sanchez, who had even reached the top of the Supreme List, becoming two of the ten strongest in the world.

To face these two, honestly, he wasn't entirely confident.

Of course, he wasn't afraid of battle either.

After his recent seclusion, his skills had improved further. If he were to face Logan Rhys and Finn Sanchez, he was confident he could put up a good fight.

"Brother Aaron, you're so amazing. Who here could possibly be your match?" Lily remained full of confidence.

To her, Aaron was simply being too modest.

As long as he used the Divine Four Symbols Technique, he could absolutely dominate all the geniuses present.

"There's always someone better, and there's no limit to the sky. At any time, one must not be overly conceited," Aaron seemed to be admonishing himself as well as teaching Lily.

He had previously fought a great battle with Logan Rhys, using the Divine Four Symbols Technique to its fullest, but he hadn't gained any advantage.

From then on, he understood that he wasn't an unparalleled, unrivaled figure.

There were always some geniuses who could match him, or even slightly surpass him.

But the more this was the case, the more driven he felt.

Previously, being at the top was lonely; now, feeling a sense of urgency, he was more motivated than ever in his training.

Thinking about it carefully, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

"Autumn (Margaret), Lily, look over there, it's so lively!"

At this moment, Violet, who had been looking around, seemed to have spotted something and suddenly pointed.

Everyone followed her gaze and saw that in the western direction, there were two open-air casinos.

People surrounded them, shouting and cheering non-stop, making it very lively.

"Strange, I didn't expect there to be casinos here," Lily said in surprise.

"Casinos?" Violet's eyes lit up, "Let's go take a look!"

With that, Violet, without waiting for a response, pulled Margaret and Lily and excitedly ran over.

I think Aaron will recognise Dustin now, and ask him secretly whether you're the person who I fought once and Dustin will agree eventually. That's what I feel.
Pls care to remind me of Dustin and Aaron encounter. I couldn't recall when and how they met no matter how hard I tried to recall
