Happy Easter to you All......

Chapter 3461 - 3470 Obsidian Lightning Tribulation

Is he pursuing you, Mr. White?” Chase paused for a moment, then continued, “Mr. White, it appears that this person named Pablo is connected to the Nethersky Sect. I advise you to be cautious. The Nethersky Sect is ruthless and highly skilled in arcane arrays and charm spells, especially those who assist Chuck. They are quite formidable. Moreover, there are rumors that this individual possesses the Nethersky Eye, which is capable of seeing through everything. It would be wise to exercise caution…”

Suddenly, Catlin interjected, “The Nethersky Sect is hardly a concern. However, dealing with Pablo, who is an Eighth Level Tribulator, might not be as easy.”

“An Eighth Level Tribulator?” Chase was taken aback for a moment, then awkwardly chuckled and said, “In that case, you really don’t need to take the Nethersky Sect seriously.”

Phoenix stepped forward, urging John, “Master, we should leave this place!”

John glanced at the towering peak and shook his head. “I’m going up the mountain. There must still be magical items at the top…”

“Master, but…”

Just as Phoenix was about to say something. John waved his hand and said, “No need to say more. The magical items atop this mountain peak must not fall into Pablo’s hands.”

Upon seeing that John had made up his mind, Phoenix remained silent. “Since you’re determined to go, I’ll accompany you. Even though Pablo is an Eighth Level Tribulator, if it comes to a fight, I can still hold my own for a while!” Catlin said to John.

“None of you should follow me. Just wait here. It’s more convenient for me to go alone!” John exclaimed.

John knew that there was an arcane array atop that mountain peak. It would be inconvenient to bring others along at that time. Moreover, when it came to arcane arrays, John was not afraid of Pablo. After all, it would be quite challenging for Pablo to forcefully break through ancient arcane arrays.

Upon seeing that John wanted to ascend to the mountain peak alone, Catlin said, “Be careful, then. If we don’t see you before sunset, we’ll come looking for you at the mountaintop!”

“Sure!” John nodded in agreement.

“Mr. White, you must be careful. The charm spells of the Nethersky Sect are not to be taken lightly, Chase earnestly advised John. With a faint smile, John swiftly headed toward the mountain peak.

Even though Chase was extremely curious about the magical items on the mountaintop, he dared not ascend. After all, the mountaintop was occupied by the Nethersky Sect and an Eighth Level Tribulator. As John made his way toward the mountain peak, Pablo and the others had already reached the top. Before their eyes appeared a grand hall, adorned in gold and jade. The grand hall was enveloped in a celestial mist, reminiscent of a fairyland.

Chuck, gazing at the grand hall before him, asked with immense curiosity, “Master, h-how could there be such a magnificent hall here?”

Pablo had no idea why there was a grand hall. After observing for a while, Pablo gestured with his hand and said, “Let’s go. Let’s enter and take a look…”

Chuck instructed two of his members to clear the way, and they followed closely behind. Just as everyone had entered the grand hall, a sudden soft chant echoed, causing the entire hall to resonate. Chuck face changed as he said, “Retreat! Retreat quickly!”

Just as Chuck’ words had barely faded, a series of array runes appeared and rapidly spread in all directions, emitting a brilliant glow. A strange aura also began to permeate the air. The two members who were leading the way up front suddenly let out a horrific scream. Their bodies fell heavily to the ground, and astonishingly, a magic sword was embedded in their chests!

Chuck was taken aback, quickly moving closer to take a look. He discovered that the swords in those two members’ chests were actually their own. Could it be that these two had committed suicide? Just as Chuck was filled with confusion, the array runes continued to spread, engulfing the entire hall. Witnessing this scene, the members of the Nethersky Sect were consumed by fear. “Break the arcane array!” Chuck cried out, realizing that some sort of arcane array within the grand hall had been activated.

Accompanied by Chuck’ loud shout, all the members of Nethersky Sect huddled closely together. Each one of them began to form hand seals, their fingertips flickering with a radiant glow.

Meanwhile, Chuck swung both palms in unison, causing the array runes to stir continuously. His eyes were tightly fixed on the array runes, searching for the weak point of the core. However, the array runes were like turbulent currents, constantly wreaking havoc. They were too chaotic to observe properly. Moreover, the members would occasionally get injured by the violent fluctuations of these array runes. Chuck began to falter, so he turned to Pablo.

“Master, this arcane array is too powerful. We should leave…”

Pablo remained silent, his gaze fixated on the fluctuating array runes. Subsequently, as the Nethersky Eye was activated, the entire space instantly transformed into a blood-red hue. The surging array runes became incredibly clear under Pablo’s Nethersky Eye. Pablo even saw the direction and position of the array runes’ movement with absolute clarity.

Pablo exclaimed loudly, “To the left and fifteen steps ahead is the core, from which all these array runes had emerged!”

Upon hearing that, Chuck hastily followed Pablo’s instructions. Braving the surging array runes, he headed straight for the core. Just as Chuck mustered all his strength to throw a punch at the core, suddenly, a gap opened up, and Chuck was sucked into it.

Upon seeing the situation, Pablo, along with the others from Nethersky Sect, hurriedly pursued. They, too, were sucked into the breach. Subsequently, the gap vanished, reverting back to its original state, with the arcane array continuously pulsating. A while ago, several members of Nethersky Sect who were injured had already been abandoned and left behind. Several people could only wait to be enveloped and struck down by the array runes once again.

At this very moment, John had already reached the summit of the mountain. Gazing at the grand hall, shrouded in a celestial mist, John was filled with an unending sense of bewilderment. Although puzzled, John still headed toward the grand hall. The doors of the hall were wide open, clearly indicating that someone had entered. After glancing around, John also entered the grand hall. As soon as he stepped into the grand hall, he noticed that the interior was shimmering with radiant light, and the array runes were swirling around.

Clearly, someone had activated the arcane array. Observing the swirling array runes, John could tell that a fierce battle had just taken place there. Without any hesitation, John stepped directly into the surging array runes. In an instant, he was completely enveloped by the arcane array.

The aggressive array runes began to relentlessly assail John. John saw several cultivators seated on the ground, their bodies marked with numerous wounds. Their faces were as pale as death, clearly indicating that they were gravely injured. These must be members of Nethersky Sect who were injured during an attack by the arcane array. They are severely wounded and, thus, unable to continue accompanying Pablo and the others in their exploration. Consequently, they had to stay behind!

John glanced over, surmising that those were undoubtedly members of Nethersky Sect. These people must have been the ones injured by the arcane array and left behind in this place. John merely glanced at them, paying them no mind. It was as if he was venturing into a deserted land, heading straight toward the core of the arcane array.

Although the array runes were incredibly powerful, exuding a strong sense of aggression, John was not the least bit afraid. The array runes surged toward John, but John couldn’t even be bothered to spare them a glance. That was because John had realized early on that the attack from the arcane array couldn’t cause him any harm.

John, in his Golden Dragon’s True Form, was a man of steel and iron. His physical body had already reached an extraordinary level of strength. Those array runes could not harm him. The several injured members of Nethersky Sect stared in disbelief as John strolled toward the core as if entering a deserted territory. They were all dumbfounded.

Despite the numerous members of Nethersky Sect, they were unable to break the arcane array together. Many of their members were injured in the process. In the end, it was Pablo, with his Nethersky Eye, who found the core. John was alone yet remarkably unscathed. He had effortlessly located the position of the core.

John gently pressed his palm, causing a gap to open. A tremendous suction force threatened to pull him in. However, John resisted, refusing to be sucked in John’s palm shimmered with a radiant glow, which then spread out in all directions through the core. In an instant, the entire arcane array was thoroughly explored, with golden light shimmering incessantly.

The gap gradually vanished, and subsequently, the arcane array shattered like a large piece of glass, disappearing entirely. At that moment, the injured members of Nethersky Sect were even more astonished. It was clear that to pass through the arcane array, one only needed to find the location of the core. There was no need to destroy the arcane array itself. However, John had managed to break the arcane array directly.

When the arcane array was broken, the grand hall that was magnificent just a moment ago had astonishingly vanished without a trace. Several injured members of Nethersky Sect glanced around, only to discover that they were on the top of a mountain, completely surrounded by a thin mist. Even the shadow of the grand hall had disappeared. Just as the group was left dumbfounded, John walked toward them.

“Are you all from Nethersky Sect?” John asked.

One of the members of Nethersky Sect nodded, athen asked somewhat timidly, “My friend, we are from Nethersky Sect. May we know who you are?”

John did not respond. Instead, he continued to question, “Where are the others from Nethersky Sect? Where is your master?”

John had no idea why the recent gap had created such a strong suction force. He was afraid that he might be in danger if he got sucked in, so he resisted, ultimately destroying the entire arcane array. The arcane array had been destroyed, the gap had vanished, and even the grand hall had disappeared. Yet, John did not see any sign of Pablo and the others. This struck him as very odd, prompting him to ask questions.

That member of Nethersky Sect shook his head and said, “I’m not sure either. Just now, they were sucked away by a sudden gap that appeared within the arcane array. If you had arrived a bit earlier and didn’t destroy the arcane array, you could have seen them through the gap that appeared!”

Upon hearing that, John was instantly filled with regret. It seemed that the arcane array he had just encountered was only the beginning. There will undoubtedly be more arcane arrays to come. However, they won’t be confined to a single spatial dimension! The person who could design such a complex arcane array and dimensions was undoubtedly an immortal!

A member of Nethersky Sect tentatively asked John, “Hey, I wonder who you might be?”

If John was the enemy, they were all gravely injured at that moment, and their deaths would undoubtedly be inevitable. Suddenly, John broke into a grin!

“I am the one who’s going to kill all of you!” John’s smile was utterly terrifying, causing shock among all the members of Nethersky Sect.

“My friend, what grudge does Nethersky Sect hold against you that you wish to kill us?” That member of Nethersky Sect was terrified.

“You bear no grudge against me, and I have none against you. However, I hold a vendetta against Pablo, and now that you’re with him, you’ve become my enemies as well!” John explained with a cold laugh.

Upon hearing that, several members of Nethersky Sect were dumbfounded. But before they could defend themselves, John suddenly waved his hand. A flash of light streaked past, and those severely injured members of Nethersky Sect were all beheaded instantly.

After slaying those members of Nethersky Sect, John began to study how to enter the next Spatial Arcane Array. Meanwhile, Pablo and the others, after being sucked in, immediately found themselves in another dimension. They were standing amidst a vast, endless grassland.

The surroundings were flat and stretched out as far as the eye could see. In the distance, dust was swirling, and the earth was trembling as if a mighty army was on the move. Chuck gazed at the dust stirred up in the distance, his voice trembling as he asked, “Master, w-what is that?”

Pablo also had a deep frown as he stared intently into the distance. Swiftly, demon beasts began to converge from all directions. There were hundreds of them, each one massive in size. They bared their teeth and snarled, displaying an extreme level of aggression

There are so many demon beasts! Run! Run quickly! The members of the Nethersky Sect panicked when they saw the numerous demon beasts. At that moment, Chuck came to his senses and swiftly blocked the members who were attempting to free.

“Don’t run! This must be an illusionary realm. We’ve fallen into an illusionary realm. We were on a mountain. How could we suddenly be on a prairie?”

Upon hearing that, the members of the Nethersky Sect came to a realization. They thought they were undoubtedly trapped within an illusion array, and the demon beasts before their eyes were certainly illusions. With that in mind, the people were no longer afraid. However, Pablo remained deeply furrowed in thought. He didn’t understand the illusion array, but the demon beasts surrounding him from all directions gave him a real and intense feeling. He felt that those demon beasts didn’t seem to be fake. However, he wasn’t sure.

“Hmph! A mere illusion array isn’t capable of trapping me. This is a joke!”

Upon realizing that it was an illusion, a smirk appeared on Chuck’ face. He then began to create hand seals, murmuring incantations under his breath. Suddenly, a charm burst forth from Chuck’ body, igniting mid-air

“Positive and negative energies, Heaven and Earth, and the Spirit of Illusion, be at my command. Soar into the air and vanquish the dragon. With divine arrows, all things shall be annihilated!”

Chuck recited the incantation to break the illusion array, and the flames from the charm burned even more fiercely. However, the demon beasts from all directions seemed to face no obstacles at all. They were still charging toward them.

Observing the surrounding demon beasts, the members of the Nethersky Sect began to panic once again. They couldn’t understand why Chuck’ magecraft wasn’t working. Seeing those demon beasts about to charge right before him, Pablo had no choice but to activate the Nethersky Eye once again.

Under the gaze of the Nethersky Eye, all things were equal, and no one could hope to escape its scrutiny. Once the Nethersky Eye was activated, the heavens and earth changed color in an instant. Yet, the demon beasts continued to roar as they charged toward Pablo and his companions. Pablo’s face changed dramatically.

“This is not an illusion. These demon beasts are real. Run! Run quickly!”

After Pablo finished speaking, he leaped into the air. Subsequently, utilizing a teleportation magecraft, he made a swift escape.

Just like that, Pablo had run off, completely disregarding Chuck and the others. Upon seeing Pablo fleeing, the members of the Nethersky Sect were thrown into a panic. That was especially the case for Chuck. He was breaking out in a sweat, yet all his efforts were in vain.

“Run! Run quickly!” Finally, Chuck no longer relied on his own spells. He turned around and started to run.

“If I don’t hurry up, those demon beasts are going to trample me to death!”

At that moment, all members of the Nethersky Sect were scattered by the demon beasts. Unsure of how long he had been running, Chuck finally halted, panting heavily. Only then did he realize that there were only a few people left by his side. The others, including Pablo, had disappeared. Obviously, he had no idea where the others had run off to. At that point, Chuck was feeling somewhat mentally and physically exhausted.

“Damn! What a godforsaken place this is! Is there even any magical item here? How on earth did we suddenly end up in this place?”

Gazing at the seemingly endless grasslands surrounding him, Chuck felt a wave of panic. He certainly didn’t want to be trapped there. If the Celestial Battlefield were to close, they would still be stuck there. After that, they wouldn’t know when the Celestial Battlefield would be opened again.

A member of the Nethersky Sect looked around nervously and asked with some trepidation, “Master, what should we do?”

“What else can we do? We have to find a way out. If we don’t, we will be trapped here forever.” Chuck let out a sigh. He had no choice but to lead the search for a breakthrough.

Not long after Chuck and his companions had left, the spot where they had previously stood suddenly experienced a ripple in the void. Following that, the array runes surged like waves. Gradually, a gap appeared in the void, and John leaped directly into it. As it turned out, it was an illusion array. It was just that not even Pablo’s Nethersky Eye could discern it. Hence, they mistook it for a real scene.

John surveyed his surroundings and immediately recognized it as an illusion array. “What an impressive illusion array, so realistic!”

John exclaimed after taking a look around. Suddenly, agonized screams echoed from nearby. Hearing the commotion, John hurriedly rushed towards the source and discovered a group of demon beasts attacking a few cultivators.

The cultivators turned out to be Chuck and his companions, but only a few of them remained and they were clearly overwhelmed by the demon beasts.

John was certain that they were from the Nethersky Sect, even though he didn’t know Chuck and the others. He glanced around and noticed that only Chuck and his companions were present. Pablo was nowhere to be seen.

After a moment of contemplation, a faint smile appeared on John’s face. He activated the Impersonation Technique and quickly transformed into Pablo’s appearance. John looked at his new appearance and couldn’t help but smile, pleased with the result. Although he hadn’t fully mastered the technique, he could replicate appearances perfectly.

As Pablo, John charged forward and with a swift strike of his palm, a ripple vibrated through the void. Astonishingly, all the ferocious demon beasts slowly faded away as if they were mere illusions. Chuck and his companions were pale-faced, staring at the spot where the demon beasts had disappeared, still catching their breath.

“Master, where have you been? Thank goodness you showed up, or we would have been in grave danger,” Chuck said, relieved to see Pablo.

The other members of the Nethersky Sect also expressed their gratitude to John. If he hadn’t arrived in time, they might have all perished. John secretly breathed a sigh of relief when he realized that none of them had seen through his disguise. However, when Chuck addressed him as Master, John realized that Pablo had unexpectedly become the sect leader of the Nethersky Sect.

“I was just exploring, trying to figure out how to escape from here,” John replied casually.

“Master, how did you make all those demon beasts disappear earlier? It was as if they were illusions, Chuck asked, confused.

“Those demon beasts were indeed illusions. We are trapped in an illusion array,” John explained. Chuck was taken aback.

“But Master, you said earlier that they weren’t illusions and that they could harm us. You even used your Nethersky Eye to confirm it, didn’t you?”

John’s heart skipped a beat upon hearing that. He quickly clarified, “When I used the Nethersky Eye to observe the demon beasts, they were real and capable of causing harm. However, this high-level illusion array managed to deceive even my Nethersky Eye. I’ve reexamined everything with the Nethersky Eye and found the core of the illusion array. Once we destroy it, we can escape from here.” Chuck was extremely shocked.

“There’s actually such a realistic illusion array in this world? It must have been created by an immortal. Master, where is the core? Let’s hurry and destroy it. This place is too terrifying.”

John nodded and led Chuck and the others in search of the core. Although the illusion array was advanced, it was no match for John. He quickly located the core

“Master, now that we’ve found the core, let us handle the task of breaking the arcane array,” Chuck offered hastily. He didn’t want to appear incompetent in front of Pablo, fearing that he would be left behind.

John nodded and watched as Chuck and the few members of the Nethersky Sect used the core to break the arcane array. Chuck proved to have some skills. Within minutes, the sky turned pitch black. When the sky brightened again, John realized that they were already at the peak of the mountain. The ancient and majestic palace stood before them once more.

“We’re free! Finally, we’re free!” Chuck and the others couldn’t contain their excitement as they laid eyes on the familiar palace. However, as they entered the palace, they found themselves trapped in various arcane arrays, putting their lives at risk.

John stared at the palace before him, sensing waves of celestial energy emanating from within. There was something unique about it, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. During his first visit to the palace, he hadn’t noticed any trace of celestial energy. Now, however, it surged unexpectedly, sparking his curiosity.

“Stay here. I’ll go in and take a look.” John instructed Chuck and the others, who nodded eagerly in agreement. They had no desire to go back inside, knowing the danger it posed to their lives.

John entered the palace and discovered a bronze cauldron containing a darkened liquid. The celestial energy he sensed was actually coming from the cauldron itself. As he looked around, he realized that the palace was completely empty, devoid of any other objects. This struck him as odd, considering the cauldron hadn’t been there during his previous visit. He leaned in closer, examining the cauldron carefully. The celestial energy rushed towards him like a vast sea, and he couldn’t help but absorb it eagerly.

“Could this be celestial water?” John exclaimed in surprise.

When celestial energy reached a certain intensity, it condensed into liquid form. If the liquid in the cauldron was indeed celestial water, it would contain an immense amount of celestial energy. John’s Focus Technique began circulating wildly, and a thin layer of celestial mist enveloped his body. As he gazed at the celestial water in the cauldron, he felt a strong urge to drink it immediately.

Despite its pitch-black appearance, he knew it would greatly benefit his cultivation. Just as he was contemplating whether to drink it, his Storage Ring suddenly vibrated. To his astonishment, the spirit beast egg emerged on its own and dove straight into the cauldron. It seemed to have sensed the call of the celestial water and began rolling around in it, as if taking a bath.

The constant rolling of the spirit beast egg created a vortex, causing the surrounding celestial energy to surge like a tsunami. John couldn’t help but curse under his breath. After finally finding celestial water, he had hoped to utilize and absorb it to elevate his cultivation level by two levels. However, his hopes were shattered when he realized that the spirit beast egg was competing with him for the celestial water.

Desperately circulating his Focus Technique, John found that his absorption speed was far inferior to that of the spirit beast egg. Helplessly, he watched as the celestial water in the cauldron dwindled, unable to do anything to stop it.

“You’ve absorbed so much celestial energy, but you’re still just an egg. What use are you?” John scolded in annoyance. This spirit beast egg only knows how to compete with me for celestial energy, but it’s of no help at all! If it could hatch and become a spirit beast that I could ride, that would be impressive!

Before he could finish his rebuke, something changed within the spirit beast egg. The eggshell gradually turned transparent, revealing the creature inside. John’s heart filled with joy as he leaned in for a closer look, but the eggshell quickly turned opaque again. However, this time, there were faint cracks on the eggshell.

“Could it be hatching?” John felt ecstatic inside. As the celestial water in the cauldron diminished, the cracks on the spirit beast egg grew larger.

Upon witnessing this, John held his breath and waited in silence. The sky above the palace was already covered in dark clouds, with lightning streaking across. Chuck and the others waiting outside looked up at the sky in astonishment.

“This aura is so terrifying. Could it be that the Celestial Battlefield is about to close?” a member of the Nethersky Sect asked in alarm. However, Chuck shook his head.

“Master must be on the verge of a breakthrough. The clouds in the sky are lightning tribulation clouds.”

“A breakthrough?”

Surprise appeared on the faces of the few members of the Nethersky Sect. Despite his young age, Pablo was already an Eighth Level Tribulator cultivator. If he were to achieve another breakthrough, he would become a Ninth Level Tribulator. That would be quite extraordinary.

“Mr. Waiter, if Master breaks through, he will become a Ninth Level Tribulator, Isn’t it unusual for such a young cultivator to reach such a high level of cultivation?”

“Is this even possible? Since when has cultivation become so easy?” A few members of the Nethersky Sect found it hard to believe.

“Ninth Level?” Chuck looked at the sky solemnly.

“Perhaps it’s not the Ninth Level, but a direct breakthrough to the Ultimate Realm. It’s the first time I’ve seen such terrifying lightning tribulation clouds!”

Thunder roared, and lightning flashed across the sky, illuminating the surroundings. The deep and rumbling sounds resembled the roar of a ferocious beast. Even Phoenix, on the mountainside, could hear them clearly and see the lightning tribulation clouds in the sky.

At this moment, John also sensed the overwhelming pressure. It was even more intense than when he had achieved a breakthrough. Gazing at the lightning tribulation clouds looming overhead, accompanied by the ominous peals of thunder, he was filled with disbelief.

“Could it be that this spirit beast needs to endure lightning tribulation when it hatches?” He was utterly perplexed. No matter the kind of spirit beast, it’s still part of the beast race, merely an animal. How could it immediately face lightning tribulation following its birth? If that were the case, the beast race would have been extinct long ago, as a beast could never possibly withstand lightning tribulation right after hatching from its egg!

“No, I absolutely can’t allow this spirit beast to die in the egg. I’ve invested so many resources in it. It must hatch from this egg, even if it’s just a dog.”

After John finished speaking, the Golem Body enveloped him entirely. He had made up his mind to help shield the spirit beast egg from the lightning tribulation.

Boom! A thick bolt of lightning suddenly descended, causing the entire roof of the palace to shatter into pieces. With a roar, John threw a punch that blocked the bolt of thunder.

“This doesn’t seem right. How could the lightning tribulation be so powerful?”

After shattering the lightning tribulation with a single punch, John sensed that something was amiss. The might of the lightning tribulation was surprisingly even more formidable than when he himself had broken through to Tribulator. What kind of spirit beast could trigger such a formidable lightning tribulation once it hatches from its egg?

Boom! Before John could catch his breath, the second lightning tribulation struck. With gritted teeth, he once again launched an attack towards the lightning tribulation. Time and again, he blocked off the lightning tribulation. The cracks on the spirit beast egg multiplied, and it seemed to be on the verge of hatching.

John was both surprised and delighted, genuinely terrified that a little monster might break out from the egg. If that happened, all his efforts would have been in vain.

Boom! As he gazed intently at the spirit beast egg, a bolt of lightning tribulation suddenly struck.

“Damn it! When will this end? This is already the eighth lightning tribulation.” John was utterly speechless. When he achieved a breakthrough, he had only faced a maximum of nine lightning tribulations. But that spirit beast egg hadn’t even hatched yet, and it was already facing its eighth lightning tribulation. Additionally, the might of that eighth lightning tribulation was evidently much greater.

“Mr. Summers, look at the peak of the mountain. It’s the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation.” Freddie stared blankly at the eighth lightning tribulation on the mountainside, his face filled with shock as he spoke to Chase. At that moment, even the usually composed Chase wore an expression of shock.

“Who is it? Who exactly is breaking through? How could there be Obsidian Lightning Tribulation? This is a lightning tribulation that only occurs upon advancing to the Ultimate Realm. Could it be that someone has broken through to the Ultimate Realm?”

Outside the palace, Chuck became incredibly excited upon witnessing the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation.

“Ultimate Realm! Master has broken through to the Ultimate Realm!” His entire body trembled with excitement. With an Ultimate Realm sect leader, the Nethersky Sect was bound to rise rapidly in the Ethereal Realm, both in terms of power and status. The other few members of the Nethersky Sect also wore expressions of excitement.

At that moment, John was already somewhat bewildered. With the Dragonslayer Sword in hand, he stood guard over the spirit beast egg and unleashed the power of Nine Shadows. Countless sword energies transformed into a golden dragon and charged directly at the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation.

As the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation collided with the Golden Dragon, a terrifying aura spread out in all directions. Chuck and the others waiting outside were sent flying by the force, flung back a few kilometers before finally coming to a halt. The entire mountain peak trembled slightly. Meanwhile, Chase and his companions on the mountainside wore grave expressions.

“Oh no, could it be that Pablo has broken through to the Ultimate Realm?” Phoenix said with concern. After all, Pablo was the most powerful among them, an Eighth Level Tribulator cultivator. If he were to encounter any opportunity or divine pill, it would not be impossible for him to skip a level and break through to the Ultimate Realm.

At her words, everyone’s expressions turned even grimmer. If Pablo had really advanced to the Ultimate Realm, they would be lambs awaiting slaughter with nowhere left to hide. In the face of someone of the Ultimate Realm, Tribulators like them were nothing more than ants.

“If Pablo has broken through to the Ultimate Realm, wouldn’t Mr. White be in great danger?” Jenny exclaimed.

“I need to go and look for Master!” Phoenix began feeling anxious deep within. She wanted to go to the mountain peak to find John.

“Calm down, Phoenix. We still don’t fully understand the situation. If you go recklessly. you might end up causing more trouble for John. Let’s wait here and assess the situation first.” Catlin stopped Phoenix from leaving. Phoenix clenched her fists, her heart pounding relentlessly.

“Master, you must be fine. Otherwise, I will also follow you into the afterlife.”

Everyone looked up at the mountain peak. A peculiar silence descended, and there were no longer flashes of lightning within the lightning tribulation clouds. In fact, there wasn’t even a whisper of wind. It was as if the entire world had come to a halt. Glancing at the spirit beast egg on the verge of hatching, John cursed inwardly.

“If you dare to hatch into a little monster, I swear I’ll burn you to ashes!” He had expended nearly all his spiritual energy to help the spirit beast egg withstand the lightning tribulation. If the spirit beast that hatched did not meet his expectations, he would burst a blood vessel.

Suddenly, a strong bolt of Obsidian Lightning Tribulation shot down amid the profound silence. John’s eyebrow arched. With a swift leap, he headed straight toward the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation. He was determined to use his extraordinary physique to withstand the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation.

Chuck and the others watched as John suddenly soared into the sky, their eyes wide in shock. They had never seen a cultivator willingly face lightning tribulation.

“What a terrifying lightning tribulation!”

At that moment, Pablo’s voice unexpectedly rang out from behind Chuck and the others. Upon hearing the voice, Chuck hurriedly turned around. The moment he laid eyes on Pablo, he was dumbstruck.

“M-Master, w-why are you here?” Chuck asked incredulously.

Pablo’s brows furrowed. He countered, “Why can’t I be here? It turned out that the demon beasts from earlier were all illusions. I almost got trapped in there. How did you all manage to get out?” His words left Chuck and the others utterly bewildered.

“Master, didn’t we break the illusion array and get out together? Moreover, you were undergoing lightning tribulation in the palace. Aren’t you currently withstanding lightning tribulation?” Chuck asked in great confusion.

Pablo was also surprised when he heard about withstanding lightning tribulation. He looked up at John in mid-air and instantly understood what was happening.

“You’ve all been fooled. The person going through lightning tribulation isn’t me. Are you all blind?”

As soon as he said that, Chuck and the others looked up at the sky. They saw that John had once again changed his appearance. He was now wearing golden armor from head to toe, emitting a terrifying aura in all directions. He stood majestically like a war god, with wide- open eyes.

A golden dragon materialized behind him, roaring continuously. The Golden Dragon charged towards the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation and, astonishingly, swallowed it whole. John’s eyes shone, and the spark of nascence within him flickered incessantly. The lightning nascence and spark emitted a blinding light, with the lightning nascence surging wildly. Powerful suction waves began to absorb the nascence aura within the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation.

Watching all of this unfold, Chuck was completely dumbfounded. He hadn’t expected that the Pablo he had seen earlier was actually John in disguise. Gah! It’s my fault for being too careless. I was under attack by demon beasts and filled with fear and apprehension at the time, so I failed to notice! Pablo also had a bewildered expression as he looked at John in mid-air.

“How is this possible? He’s only a First Level Tribulator cultivator. How could he trigger the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation? This is impossible. Who is this person really?” He was filled with profound doubt.

Ever since his fortuitous encounter in the Demon Devouring Cave, he had always considered himself the most talented individual on Demonia Mountain. However, upon seeing John, Pablo’s confidence wavered. After John refined and absorbed the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation, the lightning tribulation clouds in the sky slowly scattered.

As that happened, a colorful beam of light shot straight up into the sky from within the palace. The radiant spectrum of colors shone on John, making his golden armor even more dazzling.

John lowered his gaze and realized that the colorful light originated from the spirit beast egg. To be precise, it was no longer a spirit beast egg but a little creature the size of his palm. It had the shape of a lion, with something resembling a horse atop its head, and its entire body was covered in fluffy fur.

John slowly descended from mid-air. After exhaling deeply, he fixed his gaze on the little creature before him.

“A little unicorn… Not bad.”

After carefully observing it, he began to laugh. He reached out to touch the little unicorn, but as soon as he made contact, it bit his finger. Blood immediately gushed out.

“Damn it! I’m your master, yet you dared to bite me?”

John quickly withdrew his hand, glaring furiously at the little unicorn. The little unicorn licked the blood that flowed out of John before letting out a roar. Despite its small size, the roar echoed throughout the entire mountain peak. The terrifying aura almost made John fall to the ground. Moreover, the little unicorn began to emit a golden glow. A familiar aura hit him.

“Isn’t this my aura?” John was momentarily taken aback. Then, understanding suddenly dawned on him. The little unicorn bit him to acknowledge him as its master by tasting his blood and carrying his scent.

“I’m sorry. I blamed you wrongly. It’s just that your small body isn’t really suitable to serve as a mount. For your sake, I’ve nearly exhausted myself. I hardly have the strength to walk now,” John said helplessly, placing the tiny unicorn in his hand. To his surprise, the little unicorn stuck out its tongue at him. Then, with a swift turn, it scampered back into the Storage Ring.

Upon seeing that, John could only chuckle helplessly. He didn’t bother it anymore since he couldn’t expect a unicorn the size of his palm to carry him around. For now, I’ll just take care of it. It will be fine once it grows up. At that time, I’ll have a spirit beast as my mount and will likely be unrivaled in the Ethereal Realm!

As John indulged in his delightful daydreams, a sudden dangerous aura swept over him. Outside the palace, Pablo witnessed John enduring the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation and heard a fierce roar from a beast within. This filled him with suspicion, prompting him to use his spiritual sense to investigate the situation.

Immediately, John recognized Pablo’s aura and became completely tense. He was weak at that moment. Despite absorbing the lightning nascence from the Obsidian Lightning Tribulation, he was no match for Pablo.

Just when he was at a loss, he caught sight of the bronze cauldron, which had absorbed all the celestial water. Initially, the cauldron contained celestial water, but it had been completely absorbed by the spirit beast egg. However, the bronze cauldron remained. A bronze cauldron capable of storing celestial water must be a magical item as well!

John devised a plan to conceal himself within the bronze cauldron, making it impossible for Pablo’s spiritual sense to detect him. Upon further thought, Pablo probably didn’t charge in right away because he was intimidated by the lightning tribulation and the unicorn’s roar. Unaware of the situation inside the palace, he dared not recklessly rush in.

John’s only task was to keep himself hidden. If Pablo couldn’t detect him, then he wouldn’t know the true situation in the palace and wouldn’t dare to enter. First, he needed to deceive Pablo before figuring out an escape plan.

John leaped up and threw himself into the bronze cauldron. The residual celestial energy wrapped around him, and a beam of white light appeared. He looked towards the white light and discovered words carved around the bronze cauldron. He reached out and gently caressed the four walls of the cauldron. In an instant, sacred and divine rays of light burst forth, radiating in all directions. The entire palace was enveloped in celestial light. Combined with the celestial mist surrounding the palace, it resembled the Skyward Palace in the Immortal Realm.

This left Pablo and Chuck completely stunned. The celestial light emanated from the bronze cauldron, engulfing John entirely. His surroundings transformed into a vast expanse of white, and the cauldron disappeared. Confused and unsure of his location, a wave of heat swept towards John. Following the heat, an elderly man slowly appeared, his body engulfed in flames. Beneath the flames, he wore a vibrant red robe, a shade so intense that it was almost blinding.

“Who are you?” John instantly became guarded. The elderly man remained silent and scrutinized John from head to toe. After a long while, he finally smiled slightly and said, “I never expected that the one to inherit my legacy would be a Dragonian, let alone the noblest Golden Dragon. Well, since I left my legacy here, whoever discovers it first should rightfully claim it.” Having said that, the elderly man waved his hand lightly. Instantly, the flames surrounding his body transformed into various beasts, continuously changing.

John watched as he seemingly performed and asked impatiently, “Who exactly are you? Is playing with fire your legacy? If so, I also possess the same skills.” After speaking, his fire nascence spark flickered, and a ball of demonic fire pulsated in his palm.

“Huh?” The elderly man appeared somewhat surprised upon seeing the flame in John’s palm. “Demon’s demonic fire? You actually possess this within you. It seems I need to conduct a thorough examination.” He waved his hand at John, and a ball of flames surrounded him. Like a mouse in the presence of a cat, the ball of fire in John’s palm steadily weakened and ultimately extinguished in the center of his hand.

“What are you doing?” John paled in shock. He realized that no matter what he did, he couldn’t escape the flames surrounding his body. The elderly man said nothing. After a brief moment, the flames gradually extinguished.

Haha I am only missing for a day, and now reading comments people wants John banging some dude. 🤣

Are people here jealous of John's women? 😬

I am sitting over there 👉👉 thinking of creatibg Dragon Sect and recruit some members.

Members of Perv Sect, here is someone who accidentally joined my Sect and returning her back. I recruited her for I thought she was a beast race, but we actually don't know what race this is and fall in xavier command.

Another blessings on the way for the Golden Dragon.

You expected a baby dragon right? But then if it's a dragon it will be considered a kindred to John. Chapter 3471 - 3480 Fire Spirit Lord

“I had no idea you possessed the Power of Three. You should know, in the vast multitude of realms, those who possess the Power of Three are rare. It seems you indeed have remarkable talent, young man. With this, I can confidently entrust my legacy to you!” The elder’s face was filled with joy.

“Sir, who are you?” John asked.

“I am Fire Spirit Lord, who has spent a lifetime cultivating various supreme fires. You’re fortunate to encounter me. I etched my understanding of martial arts techniques into the inner wall of the bronze cauldron, seeking the most fated individual. I can’t believe the one fated to find it would be a young Dragonian!” Fire Spirit Lord spoke slowly.

“Fire Spirit Lord?” John’s brow furrowed slightly. He had never heard this name before. Subsequently, he asked, “Since you also manipulate fire, who is more powerful, you or Inferno Devil?”

“Inferno Devil? Is that the one who imbued you with the demonic fire within?” Fire Spirit Lord asked. If John had a demonic fire, it must be from the Inferno Devil’s teachings. John shook his head.

“Although my ultimate fire originated from him, it wasn’t something he taught me…”

“Have you not noticed that when your demonic fire encounters my flames, it’s like a grandson meeting his grandfather? That Inferno Devil of yours is nothing. The most formidable demonic fire in the demon clan is the Fire Demon Lord. Unfortunately, I haven’t encountered him on this battlefield. Otherwise, I would have sparred with him.” Fire Spirit Lord appeared disappointed.

Listening to the words of Fire Spirit Lord, John felt a tingling sensation on his scalp. In the eyes of the Fire Spirit Lord, the Inferno Devil seemed insignificant. John couldn’t fathom how formidable his future enemies might become.

“Sir, how exactly did the Celestial Battle start? Many cultivators were killed or injured, and several demon leaders were suppressed. Did you die here and leave behind your soul remnant?” John wanted to learn more about the Celestial Battle from Fire Spirit Lord.

“Nonsense, how could such a trivial battlefield possibly lead to my downfall? I merely came to the Ethereal Realm to halt the battle and leave this legacy here. As a descendant of the Golden Dragon lineage, how could your vision be so limited? This Ethereal Realm is merely a lower plane of existence. Even the Celestial Battle of the past was nothing more than a skirmish between insignificant beings.”

“The immortals, demons, or even those from the beast race, including Dragonians, all have participated in this. The Ethereal Realm is in utter chaos, with lives being devastated. I came here to put a stop to it. If someone like me had participated in the war, I’m afraid you wouldn’t even see the existence of the Ethereal Realm by now. It would have collapsed long ago. The Celestial Battle led to the collapse of over three thousand planes. Even the celestial realm was not spared, with hundreds of worlds fragmenting and disintegrating, completely vanishing into the annals of history. As for the cause of the Celestial Battle, it remains a mystery to this day,” the Fire Spirit Lord explained.

The words of the Fire Spirit Lord deeply shook John, and he felt ignorant. Initially, when he encountered the major demon overlords, he thought they were at the pinnacle. But now, it seemed that these demon overlords were outstanding only in the Ethereal Realm. In other planes, they might be insignificant.

John fell into silent contemplation. He had worked so hard in the Ethereal Realm, striving to excel and fear nothing. Yet, he had not reached the point of dominating the Ethereal Realm when he discovered that it was just a small, low-level plane. Beyond the Ethereal Realm, there were countless other worlds. It was like a diligent student in a school who studied hard, wanting to be the top student in the entire school. In his eyes, being number one in school was the ultimate achievement!

However, one day, someone informed John that beyond this school, there were countless other schools, with students who could easily surpass the top student of this school! This fact was difficult for John to accept.

“Isn’t striving tirelessly to improve oneself and achieve immortality enough?” John muttered to himself. John’s goal was to attain immortality and find his father.

“Attain immortality?” Fire Spirit Lord suddenly burst into laughter.

“Do you know that in the Immortal Realm, ascended immortals are considered the lowest existence? And you should be aware that the Immortal Realm is just one world in the entire Celestial Realm. The Celestial Realm is divided into thirty-six levels, each containing countless worlds. Just imagine, what is the Ethereal Realm, and what are immortals?”

John remained silent, his expression turning incredibly serious. Observing John’s demeanor, Fire Spirit Lord laughed again.

“Don’t be disheartened. Even though there are thousands of worlds, individuals with your talent are rare. As long as you don’t give up and diligently cultivate your skills, you’re bound to achieve great things in the future. When that time comes, you mustn’t forget about me. After all, I’m somewhat of a mentor to you. Although the inheritance I left is just a simple divine martial art, it should be sufficient for you at this stage.” Fire Spirit Lord was perhaps afraid that John would be devastated and disheartened, so he comforted him.

“Thank you, sir!” John nodded, his eyes filled with determination once again.

“Elder, did you seal this Celestial Battlefield? Several Celestial Battlefields in the Ethereal Realm are sealed,” John asked. The Celestial Battlefield had been sealed off, making it impossible for ordinary people to easily enter!

Fire Spirit Lord nodded. “Yes, back then, various clans were in chaos, and millions of cultivators died. There were numerous divine weapons, and countless magical items were left behind. If it hadn’t been sealed, the human realm would have long turned into a wasteland. These magical items, as marvelous as they are, also corrupt the mind, inciting people to slaughter each other.”

“Sir, since you sealed the Celestial Battlefield, I have something I’d like to ask you about,” John said and took out the watch. John attempted many times, but the watch remained non-functional. However, John was certain that this watch was some sort of time magical item, but he just didn’t know how to activate it! During the time of crisis, the beast egg had been used!

When John took out his watch, surprisingly, Fire Spirit Lord didn’t even spare it a glance. Instead, his gaze was firmly fixed on John’s Storage Ring! With a puzzled look on his face, John said, “Sir, this is a Storage Ring. Do you like it? If you do, I can give it to you…” John had thought that Fire Spirit Lord was interested in his Storage Ring.

“Nonsense, why would I need your inferior trinket? If I wanted to store something, I could simply create a storage world of my own. Why would I bother wearing a storage magical item and risk being ridiculed?” Fire Spirit Lord replied, his voice dripping with disdain.

“Then why were you staring at my Storage Ring?” John asked in confusion.

“I saw that little creature in your Storage Ring. Take it out so I can have a closer look…” Fire Spirit Lord was interested in examining John’s little unicorn.

Upon hearing this, John quickly took out the little unicorn and said, “Sir, I obtained a beast egg in the Celestial Battlefield which hatched into this little unicorn. Unfortunately, it’s still too small to ride…” Fire Spirit Lord gazed intently at the little unicorn for quite some time before finally speaking.

“Are… are you certain that this was found within the Celestial Battlefield?”

John nodded and said, “Yes, it was originally an egg. After absorbing the celestial water, it hatched. I had no idea it would be a little unicorn.”

“Unicorn? Ridiculous. This is not a unicorn! It’s a Celestial Devourer, the mount of a level nine Vermilion Demon Lord,” exclaimed Fire Spirit Lord.

“A mount of a demon? Isn’t this a unicorn? What exactly is a Celestial Devourer?” John wore a look of confusion on his face.

“The Celestial Devourer is a ferocious creature, notoriously difficult to tame. It is said to be the offspring of a unicorn and a ravenousor, though I’m not entirely certain. But how could a Celestial Devourer lay eggs in this Celestial Battlefield? And the Vermilion Demon Lord couldn’t possibly come here? It’s strange, truly strange…”

Fire Spirit Lord wore a face full of confusion. Upon hearing this, John realized why the little creature resembled a unicorn so much. After all, it was a hybrid. Regardless of whether it was a unicorn or a Celestial Devourer, John had put in a lot of effort to hatch it and establish a bond. So, he would take care of it.

Putting the little Celestial Devourer back into the Storage Ring, John asked Fire Spirit Lord, “Sir, is this pocket watch a time magical item, and is it powerful?”

Only now did the Fire Spirit Lord glance at the pocket watch in John’s hand. He explained dismissively, “This is indeed a time magical item, but it seems to be damaged. Your current strength is just right to use it. However, this thing probably won’t be usable many more times. It’s useful for you now, but when you ascend to immortality, you won’t need it.”

Upon hearing this, John hurriedly continued to ask, “Sir, could you instruct me on how to activate this magical item?”

“I came to impart to you the teachings of divine martial arts, yet you truly regard me as your master, expecting me to teach you everything.” Fire Spirit Lord glared at John. With a casual wave of his hand, a ray of light entered John’s consciousness field.

“Sir, what is this divine martial art called?” John asked, sensing the divine martial art in his consciousness field.

“This is the Blazing Stride. Once you refine it, you can cover a hundred miles in a single step. If you encounter enemies you can’t defeat, you can use the Blazing Stride to escape,” Fire Spirit Lord explained.

“What? An escaping technique?” John was momentarily speechless.

“I already know the Wind Walk, which allows me to run very fast…”

“You understand nothing. The Gale Step improves speed by increasing your running frequency. On the other hand, my Blazing Stride can help you teleport, allowing you to cover a hundred miles in a single step. I’m passing on my technique, but you are too picky. I won’t teach you anymore…” After Fire Spirit Lord finished speaking, his figure suddenly vanished into thin air!

“Sir? Sir!” John shouted, but there was no trace of Fire Spirit Lord. John saw that he was still inside the bronze cauldron. The inner wall of the cauldron was incredibly smooth, and there were absolutely no martial arts techniques engraved on it!

“Damn, was I dreaming?” John climbed out of the bronze cauldron, his eyes filled with bewilderment! But when John’s spiritual sense entered his consciousness field, he found the Blazing Stride there. This time, he understood that it wasn’t a dream at all.

“This old man is quite hot-tempered.” John was momentarily speechless to discover that Fire Spirit Lord was playing around with him!

After surveying the grand hall once more, John found no other hidden magical items. Quietly, he began to observe the area outside the hall. John was afraid that Pablo might still be outside. If he rashly went out, wouldn’t it be like walking into a tiger’s den?

After secretly observing for a while, he noticed that Pablo was not outside. Only after John had carefully scanned the area with his spiritual sense did he dare to step out of the grand hall! Just as John stepped out of the grand hall, it suddenly vanished, as if it had never existed at all.

“Master…” At that moment, Phoenix and the rest charged up from halfway up the mountain.

“How did you all get up here?” John asked.

“We saw that guy named Pablo leave, so we feared you might be in danger and rushed over. Are you okay?” Phoenix sounded concerned.

“I’m fine, everything’s good!” John reassured.

“John, what was that lightning tribulation cloud just now? I thought Pablo had broken through to the Ultimate Realm. But I didn’t see any changes in him, and you didn’t either. What exactly happened?” Catlin asked curiously.

John smiled and took out the little Celestial Devourer. “Look, it hatched from the beast egg,” John explained.

“Wow, such a cute little creature. Is this a unicorn?” Catlin exclaimed, reaching out to touch it.

Roar! As soon as Catlin reached out, the Celestial Devourer let out a roar! Catlin was taken aback and quickly retreated in fear. She hadn’t expected such an adorable little unicorn to be so ferocious.

“Fox Queen, this is not a unicorn. It’s a Celestial Devourer. Its temperament is wild, so you’d better not provoke it,” Phoenix warned Catlin. Phoenix, being more experienced, could easily distinguish between a unicorn and a Celestial Devourer.

“Celestial Devourer?” Catlin was surprised and quickly stepped back. Chase, Jenny, and the others looked at the Celestial Devourer in John’s hands curiously. However, they didn’t understand what a Celestial Devourer was or how formidable it could be.

John put the Celestial Devourer away. He still didn’t know its temperament, and he didn’t want it to harm anyone.

“Okay, let’s leave this place as soon as possible.”

John was afraid that Pablo would return, so he thought about leaving as quickly as possible. Everyone nodded and followed John as they swiftly left. After leaving the mountain, Chase stepped forward and thanked John, “Mr. White, thank you very much. Without you, our family wouldn’t have obtained the charm spells of the Skywrath Sect. We plan to leave this Celestial Battlefield. Obtaining the charm spells from the Skywrath Sect is the greatest fortune for our Summers family.”

“Mr. Summers, you’re too kind. Since you’re leaving, I won’t stop you. Please take care,” John told Chase.

“Mr. White, if you have the time, do visit my humble abode. I assure you, I’ll have some fine wine ready for your reception.” Chase extended an invitation to John.

“Sure, I will!” John politely accepted.

As a family renowned for their mastery of arcane arrays and charms, the Summers family had obtained the charm spell from the Skywrath Sect, which was undoubtedly their most precious possession. Hence, it was entirely reasonable for them to leave before the closure of the Celestial Battlefield. After all, there were all sorts of people in the Celestial Battlefield. If they stayed any longer, who knew what dangers they might encounter?

After bidding farewell to the Summers family, John left with Phoenix and Catlin. “Master, where are we going next?” Phoenix asked.

“Let’s wander around aimlessly. I estimate that this Celestial Battlefield will close in a few days,” John replied.

John also had no destination in mind as he had no idea where the magical items could be! John walked with Phoenix and Catlin through the dense forest, simultaneously using his spiritual sense to enter his consciousness field so he could delve into the study of the Blazing Stride. Now, he had to rely on his own research since the hot-tempered Fire Spirit Lord had left abruptly without explaining anything. John walked distractedly, contemplating the essentials of Blazing Stride.

Sometime later, Phoenix suddenly yelled, “Master, look!” John hurriedly emerged from his consciousness field. Immediately, he saw the earth in front of him torn apart, trees toppled over, and a considerable amount of chaotic currents scattered about. It was clear that a battle had just taken place. Several unrecognizable bodies lay on the ground, presenting a sight too gruesome to behold.

“Everyone wants to obtain magical items, but how many can safely leave this Celestial Battlefield?” Catlin sighed.

“Men will do anything to succeed. This is an unchanging truth throughout the ages. Since we’ve entered the Celestial Battlefield, we must be prepared to be killed. After all, in this Celestial Battlefield, there are no rules. It is a survival of the fittest, where the predator hunts the prey,” John remarked with a sigh.

The trio continued onward, continually discovering the bodies of cultivators along the way. It seemed that as the closure of the Celestial Battlefield approached, these cultivators went on a killing spree. If they didn’t act now, they might miss their White.

Meanwhile, not far ahead of John and his companions, Chuck and his Nethersky Sect were celebrating their gains. Pablo, on the other hand, walked ahead with a cold expression on his face. Along the way, he killed and robbed other cultivators of their treasures.

With the Celestial Battlefield closing soon, Pablo preferred ruthlessly killing others to take their magical items over wasting time searching for them.

“By following Master, we get to eat three times a day! Master is truly extraordinary. In the future, the entire Demonia Mountain will likely recognize his authority. This is truly Nethersky Sect’s good fortune!” Chuck exclaimed, constantly praising Pablo.

Chuck’ face was filled with joy as he continually showered Pablo with compliments! Chuck’s flattery made Pablo quite comfortable, and he flashed an icy smile.

“Demonia Mountain is nothing. I want to be the governor of the southern region, or even the master of the entire Ethereal Realm.” Pablo had ambitious plans, given the extraordinary experiences he had gone through, experiences that others had never encountered.

“You’re right. You should become the master of the Ethereal Realm. By then, you can take out the Five Great Governors and the Demon Seal Alliance!” Chuck chimed in. He didn’t even bother showing the Five Great Governors any respect.

“Such big ambitions, considering you’re just a Demonic Cultivator. You don’t even care about the Five Great Governors!”

No sooner had Chuck’ words fallen than five cultivators clad in white suddenly appeared before Pablo and the others! These five individuals had solemn expressions, staring intently at the magical items in Chuck and the others’ hands. Moreover, these five individuals were quite powerful. Two of them were Seventh Level Tribulators, and the other three were Sixth Level Tribulators. With such strength, they were indeed formidable!

Upon seeing someone audaciously blocking his path, Pablo gave a cold, dismissive laugh. “Who do you think you are?”

“Master, these are the Five Elites. They are strong,” Chuck said, his face slightly changing as he informed Pablo.

“Who the hell are the Five Elites? I don’t know them,” Pablo replied.

“They are a group of five individuals, each chosen by one of the Five Great Sects in Forlisle in the southern region. They are known as the Five Elites,” Chuck explained to Pablo.

Upon hearing this, Pablo immediately smirked and said, “The Five Elites, huh? Pure nonsense. They’re just unlucky to have run into me.”

Seeing that Pablo was unafraid, the five individuals were somewhat surprised. After all, the Five Elites were quite well-known in Demonia Mountain. How come Pablo didn’t recognize them? Previously, Pablo was nothing more than a wandering cultivator. Later, he was thrown into the Demon Devouring Cave, where he encountered a remarkable adventure! The Five Elites had not been established for long. Even though they were famous, it was perfectly normal that Pablo was unaware of them.

The five of them stared at Pablo, noting his cold and proud demeanor. He was clad in black attire with a peculiar pattern adorning it. Moreover, the intense aura of bloodlust emanating from Pablo’s body continued to pervade the air, exuding an incredibly fierce presence!

“My friend, you have slain quite a number of our disciples from the Five Sects along your journey, seizing many magical items that belong to us. I hope you can return them. As long as you hand over the treasures, we can let you go without a fight, avoiding unnecessary bloodshed,” the leader among the five said, holding a long sword.

Pablo sneered with disdain as he looked at the group. “You think you can persuade me to give you the magical items? They are already in my possession. If you want them, try to take them from me directly. This is the Celestial Battlefield, where strength determines who gets the treasure. Are you afraid that you can’t defeat me?” The young man with a scimitar was angered by Pablo’s attitude.

“You ignorant fool! We gave you a chance, but you’re still so arrogant…”

Pablo laughed heartily. “I am confident because of my strength. If you have the courage, try to prove yourself in front of me…” The young man glared at Pablo, ready to charge forward with his scimitar! However, their leader, Mateo, stopped him.

“Clark, don’t fall for his provocation. Even if we fight, we will do it together.” Only then did Clark retreat with his scimitar.

Mateo spoke to Pablo. “Friend, we, the Five Elites, represent the backing of the Five Great Sects. Even if you manage to leave the Celestial Battlefield with these treasures, do you think you can escape Demonia Mountain? Even if you underestimate us, can you afford to ignore the Five Great Sects behind us?” It seemed Mateo wanted to seize the treasures that Pablo had taken without resorting to Violence.

“Even if I were to kill all five of you now, who would know that it was me, even if you are backed by the Five Great Sects?” Pablo mocked.

Mateo’s face darkened. He gritted his teeth and said, “Since you refuse to comply, don’t blame us…” Following his roar, the rest prepared for battle.

“Pitiful fools!” Pablo snorted coldly, then swiftly struck down with his palm. A colossal black hand descended, covering the sky and blocking out the sun! The five individuals stared at the enormous black hand, their faces changing color as they all retreated. At the same moment, as the five individuals retreated, they simultaneously unleashed streams of spiritual energy. This energy converged into one, heading straight toward Pablo!

Surprisingly, Pablo didn’t dodge or flinch. A black mist began to envelop his body, solidifying into armor.

“The Dark Demon Armor!” someone cried out in surprise.

The five, having launched a combined attack, found their attacks blocked by Pablo’s Dark Demon Armor. Their expressions turned grim, and they instinctively stepped back. They had underestimated Pablo. Even with their combined strength, they failed to harm him. Now, they no longer cared about the magical items, only hoping to escape.

“Hmph, trying to escape now? It’s too late…” Pablo sneered. With a wave of his hand, a giant, pitch-black claw reached out.

Upon seeing the situation, Mateo hastily yelled, “Formation charm! Use the formation charm…”

At his command, the five took out yellow charms. They spat a mouthful of blood at the charms, their faces turning pale. The charms were purchased at great expense from the Summers family. Combined with the essence of their blood, these charms could greatly enhance the power of their arcane array!

The array charms emitted a radiant glow and were subsequently tossed into the air by them. The five charms connected in a burst of light, and an array formation abruptly materialized, trapping Pablo within! Subsequently, the five individuals linked up in the arcane array, their figures gradually fading away.

Astonishingly, they eventually disappeared completely. The five individuals seemed to have become invisible, seamlessly integrating themselves into the arcane array. Witnessing this scene, Chuck and the others were astonished. Only Pablo, watching the departure of the five individuals, let out a derisive snort. “Do you really think you can defeat me with this pathetic formation?” he sneered.

Pablo gently brushed his forehead, causing an eye to suddenly appear. The sky quickly darkened, and the five individuals who had disappeared reappeared in front of him. Feeling the power of Pablo’s Nethersky Eye, the five of them were astonished.

“Attack!” shouted the fair-skinned man as they charged towards Pablo with lightning speed. However, with the support of the Nethersky Eye, Pablo could clearly see their attacks. He moved so swiftly that the five people couldn’t even catch a glimpse of him!

Soon, billows of black mist charged towards them. They skillfully evaded the mist by using the arcane array. Meanwhile, John and the others arrived while Pablo was fighting the Five Elites. John immediately spotted Pablo.

“What’s happening?” Catlin asked in confusion as she observed the fight.

“Could it be that Pablo was the one who killed all the cultivators along the way?” Phoenix asked curiously when she saw Pablo fighting the others.

“It’s possible,” John agreed. With the Celestial Battlefield about to close, it was possible that Pablo had gone on a killing spree.

“These five individuals are quite powerful. It won’t be easy for Pablo to win,” Catlin observed. The five individuals were Sixth and Seventh Level Tribulators, not as powerful as the third and fourth kings, but still formidable opponents. Moreover, Pablo was only an Eighth Level Tribulator. He might not be able to defeat them.

“He was trying to kill Master! This is a good opportunity to teach him a lesson and end his life…” Phoenix wished for Pablo’s immediate demise. However, John said solemnly, “Pablo will not lose. These five people are simply no match for him!”

Just as he finished speaking, a loud bang echoed through the air. A colossal black palm descended from the sky, crushing one of the men to death. Even the arcane array was shattered.

“Ken…” the remaining four seethed with rage. They hadn’t expected that, despite their combined efforts and the power of the array charm, they would still be unable to defeat Pablo. Instead, one of their own had been killed!

Even when the five of them joined forces, they were no match for Pablo. Now, with one of them dead, they were even less able to resist his attacks!

“Retreat, now!” the fair-skinned man realized that if they continued to fight, they would all end up dead. They had used all the array charms they had bought at a high price. Now, they had no other means left.

“Hahaha! Do you think you can escape?” Pablo laughed maniacally as streaks of black mist surged towards the sky, trapping the four men like a cage. As Pablo withdrew the Nethersky Eye, a look of disdain crossed his face.

“Who are you exactly? How can you be so powerful?” demanded the fair-skinned man. They had never heard of such a formidable Demonic Cultivator in Demonia Mountain.

Pablo had just emerged from the Demon Devouring Cave, so it was understandable that they didn’t know him. After all, he wasn’t exactly a master in the past. The remaining four men relentlessly attacked the surrounding black mist, but their efforts were in vain.

“You’re about to die, so there’s no need for you to know who I am.” Pablo’s aura surged as he raised his hands. The black mist obscured the sky and sun like dark clouds before charging towards the four men.

“Let’s go…” John watched the situation unfold and quickly grabbed Phoenix and Catlin, leaving the scene.

“Master, why didn’t we join forces with those four men? Maybe we could have killed Pablo!” Phoenix asked, feeling perplexed.

“If we had approached them, those four guys would definitely have run away. There’s no way they would have cooperated. Everyone here is selfish. Forming an alliance with them isn’t as easy as it seems, explained John as they sprinted away. Not long after John and his companions had left, Pablo unleashed the black mist, crushing the four men instantly. Their blood splattered everywhere. It was clear how effortlessly Pablo had killed them.

“You re incredible, Master.” Upon witnessing Pablo effortlessly slay the Five Elites, Chuck and the others couldn’t help but erupt into shouts. Pablo enjoyed the flattery from Chuck and the others, a cold smirk playing on his lips.

“Search these people for any belongings. We need to continue our journey,” Pablo ordered Chuck.

Chuck nodded and started scavenging for treasures from the Five Elites with the other members of the Nethersky Sect. As the rest were searching, Pablo suddenly furrowed his brows. He immediately turned his gaze toward the place where John had just hidden.

“That brat came…” said Pablo coldly. The person he most wanted to kill at that time was John, who possessed numerous magical items. That Divine Bow was extremely tempting. Pablo was filled with envy. If the Divine Bow were in his hands, his strength would surely increase significantly. Pablo had been searching for John for all these days, but the latter showed up right beside him!

“After you finish searching, follow me immediately. I will leave markers along the way.” Pablo instructed Chuck quickly before running toward John’s previous hiding spot. He activated the Nethersky Eye and set off immediately.

“John, how were you so certain that Pablo would definitely win? We don’t need to fear him if we join forces now. There’s no need to run away.” Catlin couldn’t understand why John had fled in fear. He did not seem like the type to do so.

“Although Pablo is only an Eighth Level Tribulator, he has the Nethersky Eye and Dark Demon Armor. He’ll be a formidable opponent.” John did not want to exhaust all his energy on Pablo now!

“Hahaha! I never thought you’d be so afraid of me…” Just as John finished speaking, Pablo suddenly appeared in front of them, his face filled with satisfaction. Seeing how scared John was pleased him greatly.

“Pablo, why must you kill me?” asked John.

“If you don’t wish to die, you can hand over all the magical items you have. Perhaps, I might spare your life!” replied Pablo coldly.

“So, you desire the magical items I possess. As long as you spare my life, I can give them to you!” John actually compromised!

“Master?” Phoenix looked incredulously at John.

“John, what are you saying? Why are you backing down?” Catlin was also shocked as she looked toward him. Even Pablo himself was surprised. He had thought that John would not agree. “Do you really agree to give me all your magical items?” asked Pablo.

“Of course. If I die, all the items will still be yours anyway,” said John.

“Hahaha! I’m glad to see that you can read the situation well. Give me everything you have, and I’ll spare you.” Pablo burst into hearty laughter. John nodded, ready to hand over the magical items to Pablo.

“You coward! I must have been blind to think highly of you…” Catlin was so furious that she couldn’t help but curse out loud. Phoenix also looked at John in disbelief, thinking that John had changed. However, John was not actually handing over the magical items to Pablo. Instead, he released the parasitic silkworm king. John was quite reluctant, as he knew that it would be helpful if the parasitic silkworm reproduced more. But now, he had to catch Pablo off guard!

“Here you go…” John threw something at Pablo. Pablo, not suspecting anything, reached out his hand to accept it! However, Pablo’s brows furrowed the moment the parasitic silkworm king appeared. Immediately after, his spiritual sense became jumbled, and his eyes turned bloodshot.

“Run!” John quickly called out to Phoenix and Catlin to escape.

“Damn it! How dare you deceive me!” Pablo was furious, desperate to catch up with John. However, the intense dizziness and discomfort made it impossible for Pablo to pursue! Indeed, the parasitic silkworm king was formidable. Pablo frantically swung his arms around in all directions! Waves of spiritual energy surged from Pablo’s palm, like a ferocious tiger, reducing all the surrounding trees to mere rubble!

Pablo felt as though his divine soul was being gnawed away, a sensation that was incredibly painful!

After running a certain distance, Catlin asked in confusion, “John, what did you give that guy? Why is he acting like he’s gone mad?”

“I used the parasitic silkworm king, which is a bit of a pity. However, I suspect that Pablo will have a hard time recovering anytime soon.” John sighed as he spoke.

“What’s there to regret? Master already possesses the Celestial Devourer, so the parasitic silkworm is of little use now. As long as we raise the Celestial Devourer, who in the entire Ethereal Realm would we need to fear?” Phoenix exclaimed.

“I just don’t know what the Celestial Devourer needs to eat in order to grow.” John didn’t know much about the Celestial Devourer, so he had no idea what it ate. Within John’s storage ring, there were numerous herbs and various types of spiritual stones. However, it seemed that the Celestial Devourer didn’t take a liking to any of them.

“The Celestial Devourer is a creature of the celestial realm. It surely requires the nourishment of celestial energy,” Catlin said.

“Where can one find celestial energy?” John was momentarily speechless. Even though the Ethereal Realm was abundant with spiritual energy, finding celestial energy was not an easy task! Celestial energy could only be located in some Celestial Battlefield, but where could one find so many of those places?

Phoenix comforted John. “Master, don’t be disheartened. Once you ascend, celestial energy will be everywhere.”

“Ascending to immortality… Who knows when that will happen?” John let out a sigh.

“Master, I believe you surely won’t have any issues. I am still waiting to ascend with you.” In the eyes of Phoenix, there was nothing but anticipation! As the saying goes, “when someone becomes successful, the people around them also share in their success.”

Phoenix also wished to ascend alongside John! With a bitter smile, John chose to remain silent, continuing to walk forward.

At that very moment, Pablo’s entire demeanor was ferocious. The area spanning several kilometers around him had already turned into a wasteland, and all the trees had been reduced to rubble! The parasitic silkworm king had tormented him endlessly. The sensation of it devouring his divine soul was unbearably agonizing!

Chuck, along with several members of the Nethersky Sect, had rushed over. When they saw the situation at the scene, they were momentarily stunned.

“Master!” Pablo’s eyes were blazing red as he spotted Chuck and his companions. Without hesitation, he strode forward and grabbed Chuck by the collar! Chuck, however, was terrified to the point of trembling all over. He stammered, “W-What happened to you, Master?”

Pablo didn’t utter a word. Instead, he opened his mouth wide. Astonishingly, billows of black mist emerged from the top of Chuck’s head, which Chuck then absorbed into his body! In a state of terror, Chuck’ body gradually fell silent, devoid of any trace of demonic aura. He had died, his entire being extinguished!

At that moment, the remaining members of the Nethersky Sect were utterly dumbfounded! They couldn’t comprehend why Pablo suddenly turned against them! When Pablo cast his gaze upon the members of the Nethersky Sect, they were so frightened that they turned and ran immediately! However, just as they turned to run, several strands of dark energy transformed into iron chains, immediately pulling back the fleeing members of the Nethersky Sect!

“Boss, spare my life. Please spare my life…” Several members of the Nethersky Sect all began to beg for mercy! However, Pablo seemed as if he couldn’t hear and directly bit into the neck of a member of the Nethersky Sect! Just like a vampire, he was feasting on the blood of the members of the Nethersky Sect! At the same time, the energy within the members of the Nethersky Sect was completely drained away!

It was only after Pablo had drained the blood of several members of the Nethersky Sect that his complexion gradually began to improve.

“John, I swear I will tear you into a thousand pieces for daring to toy with me!” Pablo roared loudly!

John, Phoenix, and Catlin made their way towards the entrance of the Celestial Battlefield. The Celestial Battlefield was about to close in a few days, so John decided it was best to leave now and see what would happen later.

With Pablo relentlessly pursuing them, John knew that finding any treasure in the Celestial Battlefield would become even more difficult! As they traveled a certain distance, they noticed a shimmering light not far away, accompanied by a rumbling sound! Phoenix immediately became interested upon hearing the commotion ahead.

“Master, it seems like there’s been a fight up ahead. Should we go take a look?” Catlin chimed in as well.

“It looks like a chaotic fight with many people involved. We should go and see if we can take advantage of the situation. By now, I’m sure many people have already found some treasures in the Celestial Battlefield. As the saying goes, ‘the wolf has a winning game when the shepherds quarrel, and we’re the wolf right now.”

Originally, John wasn’t too interested, but Catlin’s words piqued his curiosity. If they could find some genuine treasures, even crystals imbued with celestial energy, it would be great as they could nourish the Celestial Devourer!

“Let’s go take a look!” John agreed.

When they arrived, they found more than a dozen people relentlessly attacking a formation in front of them using various methods! A thick white fog pervaded within the magic arcane array, obscuring the situation inside! The arcane array appeared to be quite robust, as it sustained no damage under the assault of these individuals! After attacking for half a day, the cultivators were clearly exhausted, panting heavily, yet they were still powerless! At that moment, an elderly man dressed in grey cloth spoke up.

“Mr. Summers, we’re not here to steal your treasures. Why are you so defensive against us? All we want are a few array charms from you! Don’t tell me you aren’t even willing to spare a few array charms in the Celestial Battlefield. Even though we couldn’t break through your arcane array, if we continue to drag this out until the Celestial Battlefield closes, your arcane array will disappear.”

All the members of the Summers family were within the arcane array, their faces extremely solemn! Mr Summers, you should leave with the young miss and young master first. I will stay behind with the others to hold these ruffians off,” Freddie suggested to Chase.

Chase shook his head. “It’s useless. These guys clearly don’t want us to leave. If all else fails, we’ll just give them some charms. As long as we have the Skywrath Sect’s charms in our hands, won’t we have the chance to seek revenge?” Chase was willing to compromise as long as those people refrained from seizing the charm book!

Freddie fell silent, as no one knew if those rascals would leave with just a few array charms. If their foes had any other intentions, then they were in danger! Upon hearing the old man’s words, John’s brow furrowed!

“Master, are the members of the Summers family still within the arcane array? Haven’t they left the Celestial Battlefield yet?” Phoenix asked.

“It seems like these people have targeted them, trapping them here without a chance to escape!” Catlin exclaimed.

John glanced at the cultivators, most of whom were Fifth Level Tribulator cultivators. There were only two at the Sixth level, which wasn’t considered very high!

“Let’s rescue the Summers family members,” John said, making his appearance! Phoenix and Catlin followed suit!

When the trio appeared, the cultivators were taken aback, fixing their intense gaze on John and his companions! The elderly man in grey took a glance at John, realizing that he was merely a First Level Tribulator cultivator. He snorted coldly and said, “Who are you people? Leave immediately. Can’t you see we are in the middle of something important?”

“Are you talking to me?” John asked with a faint smile.

“Don’t be ridiculous. If I’m not talking to you, am I talking to the air?” The elderly man in grey spoke with icy coldness.

I was expecting the fire spirit lord to impact his fire spirit, in that way John won't be afraid of Pablo and would even be able rescue Miranda afterall fire spirit is more powerful than inferno fire

And also I thought the bronze cauldron was going to cook John body just like the divine cauldron did to enhance his golem body.

Pablo is also becoming like Tyler. John should find a way to deal with him

Something looks somehow missing here.. the old man clearly said that he's leaving his legacy which is written in the cauldron to John. But in the end John seems to get only that 'blazing stride' from him which the old man sent directly to John's conscious field. What about that legacy in the cauldron? Did John manage to get it when he caressed his hand to the wall in the beginning? Or did he not get it? It stated in the end after the old man left that John was still in the cauldron but with the wall smooth with nothing written at all... or have I missed something? 🤔

Immortal Gily, do you have the author's phone number, I would like to ring him to ask if he has forgotten to write about it 🫣
